The social events include the icebreaker, a visit to Sintra (team-building activity), a boat trip in the Tagus estuary, and a gala dinner. All the social events need to be confirmed; please check regularly the conference webpage.

The final "Fee package" will be built consisting of selected options (one receipt).


*A confirmation of student status by the supervisor must be provided at the personal Registration Area.

  • SPQ members with membership fees up to date are entitled to a discount of 10 %.

Proforma document:

A proforma document can be download at personal area but first is required to fill some data.

After filling in and confirming the billing address, an grey button (Proforma) will appear where you can download the document.

Payment with credit card is possible - choose the payment method in your personal/registration area and follow the guidelines.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

There will be no penalty for cancellations received on or before the date 30 days prior to the first day of an annual conference. The full amount paid minus a 20% processing fee will be refunded.

  • Refunds will be handled after the conference

  • For any cancellation received after April 17, 2026, no refund will be made.

Emergency Policy

Refunds may be granted if an attendee is unable to attend the conference due to a family death, illness, or other extraordinary circumstance.  In such a circumstance, the Main Office must be contacted by phone, letter or e-mail. If initial notification is by phone, it must be followed up in writing. Refunds will still be subject to the 20% processing fee.


Author Refunds

Authors who have their papers included in the Conference Proceedings are not eligible for a refund once the Proceedings are finalized. Authors may receive a refund by the normal means above if they withdraw any submitted papers before they are included in electronic or hard-copy proceedings.

If for any reason the conference should be cancelled, the organizers will refund the full registration fee within 90 days of canceling the conference.
